Born in Egypt, raised in Alabama, and armed with a sharp wit and even sharper legal mind, Yasmin has mastered the art of juggling identities without dropping the ball (or her kids). Yasmin didn’t just stumble into greatness; she sprinted toward it in heels. After earning her law degree from UCLA and Masters from Princeton, she took on the heavy hitters of systemic inequality at the Department of Justice. But why stop at being a legal powerhouse when you can roast life’s absurdities onstage? Yasmin turned to comedy, where her fearless take on faith, culture, and motherhood.​

She’s appeared on stages across the US and Europe, including The Kennedy Center, exploring the intersections of faith, family, and identity combining raw honesty with contagious humor. She’s been featured on NBC, NPR, and Netflix is a Joke Radio just to name a few.

Offstage, she’s a Costco-shopping, carpool-driving mom who somehow manages to make time for her family while dismantling stereotypes and punching up at power. She’s living proof that you don’t have to choose between being a boss in your career and a boss at home—you just have to be ready to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
